All the three categories of mobile phones available in the market are beneficial at their grounds. What is a contract phone? A contract phones is defined as a postpaid phone where the user is suppose to pay the service charges at the end of month till the completion of contract period. Here the user gets a handset together with a SIM card that means he has to choose the service provider at the same time when he buys a handset.


Contract phones can be availed under only contract deals where the user has to sign a contract with a particular network provider. Within the signed contract period, the user cannot switch to any other service provider. Although it sounds very troublesome but there are several advantages of these phones like you are offered a lot of free gifts, free services and incentives with a handset.



But there are some disadvantages of contract mobile phones that made people not to go for them. Like, even if you are not satisfy with the services of your existing service provider you cannot switch to other. Secondly, it's quite difficult to keep a check on your phone expenses and hence exceeds the budget limit. So if you are not financially strong then contract phones are not your cup of tea.


On the other hand, sim free mobile phones are those which are availed with a SIM card and they are compatible for most of the SIMs. These phones are the best for those who are budget oriented and don't want to disturb their monthly budgets. SIM free mobile phones provide the maximum freedom to the mobile phone user as here one can choose the service provider of his choice any time. In simple words if you are not happy with your current network provider you can move to another service provider at any time. But the only lacking of these handsets is that no free gifts or services are provided with them.


So now it's completely your choice whether to go for contract phones or SIM free phones.
